The Worst Ones
A film shooting will take place at the cité Picasso, in the suburbs of Boulogne-Sur-Mer, in the north of France. During the casting, four teenagers, Lily, Ryan, Maylis and Jessy are chosen to play in the film. Everyone in the neighbourhood is surprised: why only take the "worst ones"?

Lise Akoka graduated in Psychology and had a professional training in acting. She co-directed with Gueret and made their feature debut The Worst Ones, which won the top Un Certain Regard prize at Cannes 2022. |
Romane GUERET

Romane Gueret studied Cinema at the Sorbonne. She met Akoka during a casting of a feature film, and together they made the award-winning short film Chasse royale in 2015, and their feature debut The Worst Ones in 2022. |
