陳淑芳，1939 年生於九份。1957 年以台語片《誰的罪惡》出道，自此無論是黑白台語片、老三台電視劇、各式類型電影，皆可見到她的演出。寬廣的戲路與積極的態度，讓她成為台灣新電影最常出現的面孔之一；有線電視崛起後，百家爭鳴的戲劇節目，更讓她成為跨越世代觀眾都耳熟能詳的國民阿嬤；不計戲份與製作規格的雅量，亦造就她演藝生涯的高峰。2017 年演出短片《孤味》，後以2020 年衍伸的同名長片榮登金馬影后，並於同年以《親愛的房客》獲得金馬獎最佳女配角，創下金馬獎史上一次抱走女主角、女配角兩項大獎的紀錄。得獎後除了勤做公益，她依然演出不輟，不論電影、電視，長片、短片，甚至配音，也都熱心投入。邁入影壇已68 年的陳淑芳身體力行地示範：表演，可以是一輩子的追求。

CHEN Shu-fang's acting career spans black-and-white Taiwanese dialect films, terrestrial TV dramas, and the varied genre films that followed. She won both Best Leading Actress for Little Big Women and Best Supporting Actress for Dear Tenant at the 2020 Golden Horse Awards, setting a record as the first to win both awards in the same year.
